Words Of Wisdom From My Experience
The longer you procrastinate about starting your advertising, the more likely you will never start. The longer you wait, the more DOUBT and FEAR will start to take over, ultimately convincing yourself that this will never work, which is WRONG…because it does work!
PLEASE believe me, if you take ACTION consistently, you WILL make money consistently.
What I’ve seen happen over and over again is…If you manage to convince yourself this business isn’t going to work (due to procrastinating and never getting started), what you will do is move on to the next program you hear about that sounds interesting. This, of course, will just start the same process all over again.
Here’s what you need to do…the moment you have your marketing system set-up, START ADVERTISING!
Keep in mind, it is unrealistic to think that you can place one or two ads, and expect great results. In order to see success in any online business, you HAVE to advertise consistently. You can choose what you want to do (online advertising, offline advertising, or both), but the most important thing is to have advertising of some kind going all the time.
It can seem very overwhelming if you think about all the different advertising resources that you can use to advertise your business. So, in order to prevent that from happening, make yourself a “Daily Plan of Action.” In other words, get yourself organized on what methods of advertising you want to do every day.
Another very important thing to keep in mind is that you shouldn’t be looking for “sales” when you start your advertising. You should be looking for “opt-ins.”
Opt-ins are prospects who filled in the form on your capture page. When a prospect fills in the form on your capture page, a few things happen:
They are immediately forwarded to your sales page.
You will get an email telling you that you have an opt-in.
That person is added to your list.
You need to set a goal for yourself to start getting at least 5-10 opt-ins per day in the beginning. If you aren’t getting at least that many, then you need to increase your advertising.
If you are getting consistent opt-ins, that’s GREAT.
As you are getting those opt-ins, you need to be communicating with those prospects at least once per week. You do that by sending them a broadcast email. You can do that in your autoresponder’s back office.
So, to review…OPT-INS are what you are looking for! Keep that your focus. Your advertising is what brings the opt-ins. Now, I’m sure you are understanding why consistent advertising is so important.
